Malaysia firm aids PH athletes

A COMPANY that provides health supplement for Malaysia’s Olympic team has offered to give Filipino athletes a helping hand.

HDI Malaysia has been the health food sponsor of the Olympic Council of Malaysia since 1991.

Malaysia achieved a milestone last month when it won an Olympic medal outside badminton with Pandela Rinong winning the bronze in the women’s 10m individual platform event in the recent London Olympics.

“We certainly take pride in sharing with HDI Malaysia the role it played in helping Rinong win an Olympic medal,” Philippines general manager Gigi Resurreccion said. Cedelf P. Tupas
