De Murga triples Azkals’ lead over Macau in 49th minute
MANILA, Philippines—Carli De Murga tripled the Philippines’ lead, 3-0, over Macau after Dennis Wolf started the scoring in the Philippine Football Peace Cup at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.
De Murga found the loose ball and pulled a goal back just four minutes into the second half, giving the Azkals a commanding lead for the rest of the night.
Earlier, Dennis Wolf scored his second goal just before intermission after he finally found the back of the net in the 22nd minute.
It was Wolf’s first goal since February of this year for the Philippines—which scored a 1-0 victory over Guam Tuesday in the same tournament.
