Top NCA cockers square off
THE YNARES Sports Arena in Pasig expects another jampacked attendance on Tuesday as the National Cockers Alliance (NCA) holds another exciting derby.
Hosts Atong Ang, Mario Villamor, Eugene Martin, Luding Boongaling and Claude Bautista said Oct. 2 winners “RMC-BDJ Pamisa” of Ato dela Cruz and Bhoy de Jesus, “Cutting Edge 9” of Ralph Daigo and company, “Dec 15 5-Cock” of Danny Teves and “Jade Red EDL Excellence” of Arman Santos are joining anew.
In second place with 4 ½ points each were “Binangonan” of Ito Ynares and “RM Lucky Chances” of Rene Medina while with 4 points apiece are “Jimafer JJ” of the Jingco brothers, “Viking AA Jimafer” of E. Jingco and Ang, “LDB & Pugo Combine” of Boongaling and Rey Soberano, “Triple A” of Engr. Tuaño and Vice Mayor Tuaño, “MBJ” of Mayor Boyet Joson and “N.I Armen “ of Newton Isaac and Arnold Mendoza.
“Big Event” at Big Dome on Oct. 25
AT LEAST 50 gamefowl breeders will do battle in the “AA Cobra Big Event 8–Stag Derby” on Oct. 25 and 29 at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Participants will start their campaign in the 3-stag elimination on Oct. 25. The 5-stag finals is on Oct. 29.
“It is the first bigtime stagfest of Araneta Coliseum for 2012 and quality fights from start to finish are assured,” said Araneta Coliseum pit manager Dong Lamoste.

‘Cabadbaran’ stagfest set Monday
THE ANNUAL “Cabadbaran 110 K Big Event 6–Stag Derby,” a showdown among Visayas and Mindanao gamefowl breeders, sizzles at Pasay City Cockpit on Monday.
Most entries will come from the Mindanao Gamefowl Breeders Association (Migba) and Negros Gamefowl Breeders Association (NGBA).
Hosts Gov. Erlpe Amante of Agusan del Norte and Tonette Luzuriaga transferred the event to PCC to accommodate Metro Manila entries.
