Breeders back Pasay ‘Big Event’
EIGHT popular gamefowl breeders have committed their support to Pasay City Cockpit’s Ika Diego Big Event 8–Stag Derby grand finals on Monday.
The early rounds began yesterday with 73 fights.
Arnold dela Cruz and Lito Roque of Batangas, Joey Salangsang and Tol Mariano of Mindanao, Arnold Mendoza and Chuck Yulo of Bacolod, Venancio Jingco of Pampanga and Paolo Malvar of Tarlac will donate their winning lines to be raffled off to paying patrons.
“It’s a big help to new breeders who also want to produce champions,” said PCC pit managers Eric dela Rosa and Butchoy Olano.
Roque, an underrated breeder, recently won three big derbies. Yulo emerged as solo champ in an event last month while Malvar was the first champion of LGBA 5–Stag Derby series.
