MANILA, Philippines—Jimmy Alapag now belongs to an elite cast of marksmen in the PBA.

“Honored to be mentioned with legends Al Solis, Allan Caidic and Ronnie Magsanoc,” said Alapag on his Twitter account (@Jalapag3). “I’m much happier about our win tonight, though.”
Alapag surpassed Al Solis, who made exactly 1,000 three-point conversions in his entire career, as he gave the Texters a 68-59 lead midway in the third quarter.
