PBA: Talk N’ Text, Rain or Shine overcome tough foes
MANILA, Philippines—Talk N’ Text continued its unbeaten run under coach Norman Black after subduing San Mig Coffee, 85-74, Saturday in the 2012 PBA Philippine Cup at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
Larry Fonacier hit his mark from downtown and chalked up 26 points, which went along with seven rebounds as the Texters claimed their fourth win.
Talk N’ Text, still undefeated under new coach Norman Black, also dealt Tim Cone and the Mixers their first setback in three games.

In the curtain raiser, Rain or Shine drew a career-game from bigman Jervy Cruz in the 94-83 triumph over GlobalPort.
“We just kept our guys and game steady in the end game,” said head coach Yeng Guiao. “It’s also a big improvement in our rebounding.”

Rain or Shine improved to 3-1 while the Batang Pier, who are still missing scoring champion Gary David, dropped their fourth assignment of the conference.
