MANILA—Normally a race, a runner depends largely on himself.
But Res/Toe/Run’s “Run for All” will bring the concept of teamwork when it holds a three-member relay run on July 24 at the Nuvali eco-community in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
Team members will be composed of a child not older than 15 and male and female adults who should be at least 18 years old.
Race director Neville Manaois, who appeared with Res/Toe/Run brand manager Joy Austria in Tuesday’s PSA Forum at Shakey’s UN Avenue in Manila, said the relay will start with the child, who will negotiate a 2K obstacle course.
The child will be handed a bracelet after completing his course and the bracelet is passed on to the female runner, who must run a 3K route around Nuvali Lake.
Finally, the bracelet is handed to the male runner, who will complete a 5K trail before returning to base camp after which all three members will run together to the finish line.
