USLS, La Salle clash in Unigames women’s volleyball finals
MANILA, Philippines — University of St. La Salle is just a victory away from a succesful title retention after nipping Adamson and arranging a clash with UAAP champion La Salle in the 2012 Sandugo Unigames women’s volleyball tilt.
The Lady Stingers stung the Lady Falcons in five gruelling sets, 24-26, 25-21, 25-15, 15-25, 16-14, at the USLS College covered court in Bacolod City Saturday night to enter the finals.
The Lady Archers also needed five sets to overcome rival UST Golden Tigresses, 25-27, 21-25, 25-15, 25-15, 15-8, to try to continue their championship ways even in the Unigames.

But even in the men’s basketball, USLS reigned supreme and barged into the finals after a 25-22, 25-16, 25-19 triumph over the UST spikers.
The Stingers face a tough Far Eastern University, which bucked a first set loss to hold off Adamson, 13-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-19, in the finals at the same venue.
