Pacquiao leaves for US for training

MANILA, Philippines — Manny Pacquiao left Saturday night for Los Angeles to continue his preparations for his fourth showdown with Juan Manuel Marquez on Dec. 8 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Having trained for several weeks in Gen. Santos City under the guidance of assistant trainer Buboy Fernandez, Pacquiao said he is ready to spar on Monday when he reports at the Wild Card Gym of chief trainer Freddie Roach.
