Zambales sportsfest lures big field

COMPETITIVE and recreational athletes from different parts of the country are participating in the Zambales Multi Sports festival set Nov. 9 to 11.

Among those already entered in the 36K kayak race and relay event scheduled Nov. 10 are dragon boat teams, adventure racers, bikers, open sea swimmers, triathletes and even a car drifting champion.

“We have confirmed entries from Cagayan de Oro, Bohol, Palawan, Camarines Norte, Calapan and several from Metro Manila,” said event organizer Didi Camara of the Philippine Kayaking Association, the lead organizer together with the Zambales provincial government headed by Gov. Hermogenes Ebdane.
