Paronda nails 2 titles

RANDY Paronda nailed two titles in the recent Philippine National Shooting Association-Bench Rest Aggrupation (PNSA-BR) of the Philippine National Open Shooting Championships at Philippine Marines Shooting Range in Fort Bonifacio.

Paronda scored 745.27 points to rule the Rimfire Heavy Varmint category and then collected 738.25 points to bag the Air Rifle Heavy Varmint crown.

Louie Gonzales finished second in the Rimfire category with 740.25 points while Danby Henares finished third with 739.32.

Enchong Formoso had a 730.20 to finish second in Air Rifle with Henares again placing third with 727.18 points.

Coinciding with the National Open is the PNSA-BR’s first foray in the international scene through the 2012 WRABF Postal Match where Paronda’s Rimfire score is currently ranked third among five member countries that have already submitted their scores.

Paronda and his teammates, Louie Gonzales and Tony Olbes, are currently ranked third in the team event.
