Puyat makes Wyndham Cup
Marcel Puyat will see action in the Wyndham Cup slated July 25-28 at the Eagle Point Golf Club in Wilmington, North Carolina, as part of the West squad riding on a six-match winning streak against the East team.
Puyat, coming off a runner-up finish in last week’s Rolex Tournament of Champions in Oregon, has been named to the West in the American Junior Golf Association tradition featuring 10 boys and girls from the East of the Mississippi River against their opponents from the West.
The West leads the series, 12-8-1, and seeks to make it seven straight behind AJ McInerney of Nevada, the only returning player from last year’s squad.

Puyat, a member of the ICTSI golf team back home who plays out of Stanford University, is one of nine rookies in the tournament.
