Fabulous Frankie returns to local Tour

FRANKIE Miñoza, the newly crowned Japan Senior champion, returns to the local ICTSI Tour as one of the favorites when the Canlubang Invitational tees off on Wednesday at the complex’s tree-lined North layout in Laguna.

Miñoza, who snapped a long title drought in style in Japan, will certainly add star power to the P1-million event serving as the penultimate leg to the 15-stage circuit.

Jay Bayron, who won an Asian Development Tour event in Malaysia two weeks ago, is tipped as the most serious threat in the fight for the P200,000 champion’s prize because of his familiarity with the layout.
