PBA: Crucial B-Meg duel versus Air21
MANILA — Darnel Hinson’s domestic woes could disrupt B-Meg Derby Ace’s final push to the semifinals of the PBA Governors Cup.
A picture of consistency for the Llamados the past three games, Hinson will hop on a trip back to the United States as soon as B-Meg wraps up its elimination campaign against Air21 tonight at the Araneta Coliseum.
The B-Meg import has to attend a hearing on the custody of his daughter filed by his estranged wife, leaving the Llamados no choice but to find a replacement at once or take the risk of going all-Filipino in the next round.

“He (Hinson) will play but must leave right after the game,” said B-Meg coach Jorge Gallent yesterday. “Hinson gave the assurance of playing 100 percent.”
Three teams are bound for an early vacation after the elimination with B-Meg, Meralco and Powerade on the fringe, and Air21 already out of contention.
