MANILA, Philippines – Filipino ring icon Manny Pacquiao and Mexican legend Juan Manuel Marquez officially made weight Saturday for their fourth encounter at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

In a livestreaming of the event, Pacquiao (54-4-2, 38 KOs), who edged his Mexican rival in their third fight via majority decision in November 2011, tipped the scales at exactly 147 pounds.

Marquez (54-6-1, 39 KOs), who appeared to be the more chiseled fighter, on the other hand, weighed in at 143 pounds.

Both fighters are aiming for a definitive win this time around after their first three meetings ended in controversial wins.

The 39-year-old Marquez, who believed he won in all of the previous battles which all went the distance, forged a draw after getting dropped three times in the first round during their epic clash in May 2004.

Pacquiao, who turns 34 on December 17, dropped Marquez anew in their second fight but still it went on to be a tight affair with the eight-time division champion eking out the win via split decision in March 2008.
