Miñoza seeks 2nd WW title
FRANKIE Miñoza, the reigning Japan Senior Open champion, will defend his ICTSI Wack Wack crown starting Dec. 19 against some of the biggest names on the ICTSI Philippine Golf Tour at the fabled East course.
Miñoza confirmed his participation in the P2.5-million event, which he ruled by coming back from seven shots down on the final day last year—his only local victory in quite a while.
Prodigious teener Miguel Tabuena is also seeing action, together with Order of Merit leader Antonio Lascuña and leg winners Elmer Salvador and the young Zannie Boy Gialon.

Jay Bayron, who earned his Asian Tour card recently after winning the OOM of the Asean Developmental Tour, and former Philippine Open champion Angelo Que are also in the mix, guaranteeing a wide-open chase for the P450,000 champion’s prize.
The traditional pro-am tournament on Dec. 18 will usher in the four-day event. Musong R. Castillo
