Reigning titlist Adamson drubs Ateneo in UAAP softball

MANILA, Philippines—Reigning champion Adamson drubbed Ateneo, 12-2, to seize the solo lead Wednesday in the 75th UAAP women’s softball at the Rizal Memorial Baseball Stadium.

The Lady Falcons kept their clean slate after three tries, while sending the Lady Eagles down further with their third loss.

University of Santo Tomas nipped winless University of the Philippines, 8-6, to notch its second victory in the other pairing.

La Salle, which also improved to 2-1, meanwhile, blanked also winless University of the East, 4-0.
