FEU, UST blast foes in UAAP men’s volley

MANILA, Philippines—Titleholder Far Eastern University blasted University of the Philippines, 25-16, 25-23, 25-18, in the 75th UAAP men’s volleyball tournament at the Arena in San Juan.

For the Tamaraws’ third victory in four outings, Arvin Avila and John Depamaylo recorded 12 markers each.

In the second game, University of Santo Tomas downed Ateneo, 25-20, 25-20, 25-19, to keep in step with FEU at 3-1.

Mark Gil Alfafara led the way for Golden Spikers with 15 hits while skipper Salvador Depante added 10 points.

Ateneo and UP both absorbed their third setback with just a victory each across their names.
