MANILA, Philippines—For his steady showing in the finals, versatile forward Ranidel de Ocampo was awarded the 2012-2013 PBA Philippine Cup Finals Most Valuable Player.
De Ocampo averaged 18 points, eight rebounds and 3.5 assists in four games where the Texters methodically put away the Elastopainters to clinch their third straight All-Filipino title.

The sly forward wound up with 19 points, 10 rebounds and seven of the Texters’ league conference high 34 assists in the 105-82 beating of Rain or Shine in game four.

In game two, De Ocampo shone best with 24 points—including clutch buckets—and nine rebounds to carry Talk ’N Text to a commanding 2-0 lead.
