WSC draws record foreign entries

MORE than 300 entries will clash when the World Slasher Cup 8-Cock invitational Derby unfolds at Smart Araneta Coliseum on Jan. 21 to 27.

Hosted by the Pintakasi of Champions, the week-long event will be launched in a press conference today at Gateway Suites, Araneta Center.

The field includes over 50 foreign entries, the most in the 51-year history of the event.

There will be three separate 2-cock eliminations on Jan. 21 (first 100 entries), Jan. 22 (next 100 entries) and Jan. 23 for the remaining entries.

The 2-cock semifinals will be Jan. 24 and 25 while the 4-cock championship round will be held from Jan. 26 to the morning of the next day.
