MELBOURNE — Argentine sixth seed Juan Martin Del Potro bowed out of the Australian Open in a third round five-setter to Frenchman Jeremy Chardy on Saturday.
Chardy upset the former US Open champion 6-3, 6-3, 6-7 (3/7), 3-6, 6-3 in 3 hours 45 minutes on Hisense Arena.
