Perpetual Help remains unbeaten in NCAA men’s volleyball

MANILA, Philippines—Defending champion Perpetual Help fought off Arellano University, 25-17, 26-24, 25-20, Tuesday in the NCAA Season 88 men’s volleyball tournament at the FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan city.

The Altas leaned on Adam Daquer, who delivered with 13 hits, to help his team remain unbeaten at 8-0.

Meanwhile, College of St. Benilde turned back Jose Rizal University, 25-22, 25-9, 25-21.

The Blazers improved to 2-5 while the Heavy Bombers dropped to 1-8.

San Beda is the other undefeated team, also with an unblemished 8-0 mark.
