San Beda booters win via rout anew

MANILA, Philippines — San Beda continued its domination in NCAA season 88 men’s football competition Thursday, blasting Perpetual Help 6-0 at the ASCOM field in Fort Bonifacio.

The Lion Booters followed up their huge opening game victory over Mapua, 7-0, last Monday, while the Altas dropped all three of their assignments thus far.

The Cardinals, meanwhile, stayed winless in three outings after suffering a 0-3 loss to Emilio Aguinaldo College in the other game.

It was the Generals’ second straight win after being held to a scoreless stalemate by Lyceum last Saturday.

Meanwhile, The Pirates, who are still unscathed early in the competition, edged St. Benilde, 1-0.
