Perpetual Help beats San Beda to sweep men’s volleyball elims

MANILA, Philippines – League-leading Perpetual Help cruised past San Beda, 25-19, 25-21, 25-21, Friday to complete a sweep of the eliminations of the NCAA season 88 men’s volleyball tournament at the Arena in San Juan.

Adam Daquer dropped 12 points, Ralph Savellano had 11 and skipper Jay Dela Cruz added 10 to spearhead the Altas attack, handily disposing off the second-running Red Lions.

At the end of the eliminations, Perpetual Help remained as the only undefeated squad while  San Beda absorbed its first set back.

Lorenzo Capate and Gilbert Ablan had 14 points each for the Red Lions, who gave up 24 points off errors, which gave the Altas a big edge.
