Lady Falcons soar to 30th win in a row in UAAP softball

MANILA, Philippines – Titleholder Adamson blanked National University, 10-0, to roll to its 10th straight win Saturday in the UAAP Season 75 softball tournament at the Rizal Memorial Baseball Stadium.

The Falcons, who streaked to their 30th win in a row dating back to Season 73, are now a couple of wins away from seizing an outright championship berth.

In other games, University of Santo Tomas scored come-from-behind win over Ateneo, 6-4, while University of the Philippines pummeled University of the East, 5-2.

The Tigresses and the Lady Maroons now join the Lady Bulldogs in second place at 6-4.

Lovely Basa scored on a grounder that sent Sundai Alipato and Arlyn Agrelado home in the fifth inning as UST took the upperhand, 4-3, and never looked back.

The Lady Warriors fell to 4-7, while the Lady Archers and the Lady Eagles fell to 2-8 and 2-9, respectively.
