In tennis, Colegio de San Agustin Makati won the High School Boys category beating De La Salle Lipa in the finals. DLSZ tennis teams are the champions in the High School Girls, Grade School Girls and Grade School Boys categories.

Mike Atayde, President of the DLSZ Sports Development Foundation, said:  “We are very excited with the turn-out of participants in this tournament. We wanted to showcase the best talents, as well as provide an opportunity for young players, to play in an environment where they can have fun and at the same time hone their skills in their sport.”

“Our football teams in the tournament were also the first to make use of the newly inaugurated FIFA-spec artificial turf football field. It is the first of its kind south of Manila and we would like to thank DLSZ President Bro. Dennis Magbanua FSC, Green Archers United FC and Globe Telecom for making this possible. Even now, we expect next year’s sport festival to be well attended so we invite all teams to book early and reserve a slot,” Atayde said.
