MANILA, Philippines—La Salle got a boost to the top four with a 25-19, 25-22, 25-20 over Ateneo on Thursday in the UAAP season 75 men’s volleyball at the Arena in San Juan.
Christopher Antonio scored on game-best 14 hits as the Archers capitalized on the Blue Eagles’ error-prone game for 23 points.
La Salle tied with Adamson at third place with an 8-5 record, while University of Santo Tomas lurks behind at fifth with a 7-6 card.
Meanwhile, Far Eastern University survived past also-ran University of the Philippines, 25-22, 25-27, 25-19, 23-25, 15-9.
Each one from the Tamaraws’ side, who remained in second place with an 11-2 card, chipped in at least two points with Ranie Yumang dropping a team-high 17 points.
