Pachanga nips Pasargad for 2nd win

PACHANGA Diliman notched its second win in its maiden top flight campaign with a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over Pasargad Saturday night in the United Football League at Emperador Stadium in Taguig.

Two of the top goalscorers in the second division last season, Jose Andoni Santos and Osseynou Diop found, the back of the net as Pachanga climbed to fourth with six points from three matches.

Loyola Meralco, Stallion and defending champion Global share top spot with nine points.

Pasargad took the lead in the 34th minute courtesy of Jaham Taher.

The advantage only lasted five minutes as Santos expertly finished past Reza Ataei.  Substitute Robert Canedo helped create the game-winner for Diop to finish in the 69th minute.

Meanwhile, Kaya announced the resignation of coach Maor Rozen Saturday night three matches into the season. No further details were given.
