Davao del Norte 2014 Prisaa Nat’l Games host

Davao del Norte will host the 2014 Private Schools Athletic Association (Prisaa) National Games.  Provincial Information Officer Romulo Tagalo said the bidding was conducted in Lingayen, Pangasinan, site of this year’s Games.  Vice Governor Baby Suaybaguio and provincial sports coordinator Giovani Gulanes presented the province’s bid.  The Prisaa will be the biggest sports event in the Davao Region since Socsargen hosted the Palarong Pambansa in 1996.  With the completion of the Davao del Norte Sports and Cultural Center, the province is also eyeing the hosting of the Palaro 2015.
