Pathak Memorial slated
FILIPINO junior players are expected to assert their regional supremacy when the Ajay Pathak Memorial Cup/ITF Asia 14-under development championships starts on March 5 to 15 at Rizal Memorial Tennis Center.
Among those trying their skills are age-group stalwarts Alberto Lim Jr., Jerome Romualdez, Jan Godfrey Seno, Arthur Craig Pantino and John Bryan Otico who will banner the local campaign in the event held in honor of the late Philippine Tennis Association vice president and Asian Tennis Federation committee chair for development.
The two-week tourney will begin with a training camp on March 4 and is sponsored by the ITF Grand Slam Development Fund and the Philta.
The camp will be conducted by an ITF representative and assisted by visiting team coaches.
Ranking points are at stake in the event supported by the PSC, Technifibre Balls and Viva Mineral Water.
