IT WILL be a test of strength and endurance when the Unilab Active Health’s 2013 Tri United season kicks off with Tri United 1 on Dungaree Beach in Subic Bay Freeport, on Sunday.
The event has already lured 600 participants seeing action in three races—standard distance, sprint distance and teens’ distance.
The standard distance covers a 1.5K swim–40K bike-10K run course, while the sprint has a 750m swim-20K bike-5K run schedule. A 750m swim-20K bike-5K run is set for the teen distance.
The swim leg and transition will be on Dungaree Beach. The bike leg will be held along Argonaut Highway and the run leg will finish on San Bernardo Road.
The event, organized by Bikeking, is also backed by Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority Tourism department, Aboitiz Power, Enervon Activ, Enervon HP, I-on Energy Drink, Hydrite, 3rd District of Bohol, Pocari Sweat, Timex, Crystal Clear Mineral Water and Orbea.
