Even with a depleted lineup, Nomads extended their unbeaten run to four matches, hanging on to a goalless draw against Pasargad last night in the United Football League at Emperador Stadium in Taguig.

Missing several key players due to injuries and work commitments, the Parañaque-based club held their ground against a desperate PSG side that finally nailed its first point of the season after five games.

Nomads dropped points for the first time in three matches, but tightened their grip of fourth spot by jacking up their tally to 11 points from six matches.

The best chances of the match fell to Pasargad with Emmanuel Mbata and William Guerridon just denied scoring by the frame of the goal in either half.

Latching unto a deflected pass from defender Jaham Taher, Mbata had Nomads substitute keeper Phil Connoly beaten in the 35th minute, but his effort just bounced off the post.
