Kuala Lumpur has tapped another Filipino import in Patrick Cabahug as the Dragons try to halt their winless run in the AirAsia Asean Basketball League.
The sweet-shooting Cabahug, a former Adamson standout, will team up with fellow Filipino reinforcements Rudy Lingganay and Angelus Raymundo.
The Dragons made the announcement Wednesday after acquiring American Nakiea Miller as replacement for Jason Killeen.
A total of 13 Filipinos are seeing action as imports in Season 2 of the six-nation tournament, where the Philippine Patriots are the defending champions.
The Patriots and the Thailand Slammers, tied at 3-0, dispute the solo lead at 8 p.m. tomorrow at the Nimibutr National Stadium in Bangkok.
American import Anthony Johnson will suit up anew after missing the Patriots’ last two games due to a hamstring injury.
The Slammers are boosted by Filipinos Froilan Baguion and Eric Canlas.
