7:30 p.m.—Stallion Sta. Lucia vs Global

BOASTING of perfect records, defending champion Global and Stallion Sta. Lucia collide tonight in a showdown that could prove decisive in the United Football League title race at Emperador Stadium in Taguig.

Tied at the top with 18 points from their first six matches, the two squads take the field at 7:30 p.m. in their first meeting since the UFL Cup final won by Stallion last December.

Loyola Meralco, fresh off a morale-boosting win over Nomads, takes on Green Archers Globe in the 5:15 p.m. match.

The Sparks hope to nail a second straight win against an Archers side that has yet to meet lofty expectations that came with the strengthening of its roster during the off-season.

With Mark Hartmann on the firing end, the Sparks have been on a tear  with the Southeast Asian Games veteran bagging  a brace in the 5-0 drubbing of Nomads.

The Archers’ miseries continued in a 1-2 loss to PSG last Saturday.

Stallion survived Pachanga Diliman, 3-1, last week with Sanchez scoring the insurance goal.
