GLENN Aguilar will try to surge ahead in the overall race as action in the Kopiko Astig 3-in-One Supercross series shifts to Bacolod City on April 6 and 7.
A total of 119 riders from 45 teams have confirmed their participation in the event set in Barangay Mandalagan, coinciding with the start of Negros Occidental’s Panaad Festival.
Riders will be negotiating 36 jumps in a track that is close to 1 kilometer long.
“The layout should make it more challenging for the riders,” said Jake Alcordo, operations manager of the organizing Man and Machine.
Aguilar topped the Pro Open and Pro Lite category in the previous leg in Bais City, where he vaulted past Jonjon Adlawan, Bornok Mangosong and Jovie Saulog.
Half a million in prizes will be dangled across 15 races from the peewee division to the pro categories.
The next leg is slated in Negros Oriental at the end of the month while the fifth leg will be in Dumaguete City. Cedelf P. Tupas
