Thai Cuppers count on Danai
LAPU LAPU CITY—For the Thailand Davis Cup team, Danai is the “Da Man.”
The 31-year-old Danai Udomchoke will be playing as the highest ranked singles player at 207th when Thailand tangles with host Philippines in their Davis Cup Asia/Oceania Group 2 semifinal tie beginning tomorrow at Plantation Bay Spa and Resort here.
“He (Udomchoke) is a very tough player, and he is ranked higher than anybody in our lineup,” said Philippine Tennis Association vice president Randy Villanueva.
