MANILA, Philippines — Unbeaten Filipino prospect Milan Melindo made short work of Indonesian Tommy Seran in the undercard of the Viloria-Estrada bout at the Cotai Arena of The Venetian Resort and Casino in Macau Saturday night.
Melindo of ALA Promotions knocked Seran down three times with the last one coming in the fourth round off a crushing left hook up top that stopped the fight the 2:38 mark.
That same left hook also sent Seran down on the canvass in the opening round while a right hand in the ensuing round dropped the Indonesian in the third round.
Melindo continued his unbeaten streak – improving his record at 29-0 with 12KOs.
Peñalosa brothers Dave and Dodie Boy Jr. also shone with stunning wins over their Thai counterparts.
Dodie Boy overcame a first round knockdown to knockout Nimithra Sithsaithong in the third round while Dave (6-0, 4KOs) needed only two rounds to turn back Cheronchai Sithsaithong.
Dodie Boy (11-0, 11KOs) finished off his opponent with a body shot at 2:54 of the third round.
