La Salle-Dasma, Adamson romp separate foes in V-League

MANILA, Philippines—Jennifer Manzano scored 18 points to lead La Salle-Dasmariñas to an easy 25-14, 25-21, 25-21, win over Letran Tuesday in the Shakey’s V-League Season 10 First Conference at the FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

Manzano shot 14 of her points off kills as the Lady Patriots, who also drew nine points from Justine Mae Navidad, started its campaign on a winning note.

In the main game, Adamson had little trouble against provincial team University of San Carlos to win, 25-13, 25-22, 25-21.

Veteran Pau Soriano shone with 18 points, four came off blocks.
