Melindo to fight Viloria tormentor
MILAN Melindo finally gets his due when he challenges Mexican Juan Francisco Estrada for his unified world flyweight titles in July.
Top honchos of ALA Promotions yesterday announced that negotiations are being finalized for the 12-round fight to be staged by Top Rank Promotions at Venetian Resort and Casino Hotel in Macau on July 27.
“We just have to settle minor details,” said ALA Promotions vice president Dennis Canete yesterday hours before the WBO International featherweight title match between Rey “Boom Boom” Bautista and Mexican Jose Ramirez at the University of Southeastern Philippines gym in Davao City. “We made sure about the date first, but everything appears ready.”
