MANILA, Philippines—Slowly but surely De La Salle has been finding its form.

The Green Archers notched their third win in a row after crushing winless University of the East, 87-63, Sunday in the UAAP Season 74 at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.

La Salle, who has now overtaken UST for solo fourth place, pulled away late in the second period behind its patented full-court press.

Trailing 17-19, the Archers went on a tear to build a double-digit lead that they would never relinquish.

La Salle, sitting on a 3-2 mark, established its biggest buffer at 28, 77-49 in the last period.

DLSU skipper Simon Atkins hurt UE in different ways with a multifaceted effort with 12 points, six rebounds and five assists.

Flashy guard Jarelan Tampus led La Salle with 15 points.

UE, which was outscored 13-32 in the second period, reeled to its sixth straight setback.
