Teng, Reyes lead La Salle in rout of San Sebastian
MANILA, Philippines — La Salle overwhelmed San Sebastian, 90-74, in a clash of the young squads on Friday in the 2013 Filoil Flying V Hanes Premier Cup at the Arena in San Juan.
The young guns of the Green Archers continue to keep their offense potent in their third win in as many games, as all but one from their side contributed at least two markers.
“I’m very happy with the way they’re performing. It’s still early, but they are adjusting pretty well. I like the way they play aggresive on both ends. They will learn some more in ther coming days,” said head coach Gee Abanilla.

Despite everything going well for La Salle, Abanilla said he still wanted his squad to improve on their game.
“San Sebastian was a different kind of team. They played an uptempo game and pushed the ball in transition. And we got some guys late in defending our basket, especially the big guys. So it’s something we have to work on,” said Abanilla.
The Stags dropped their second assignment, getting badly beat in the boards, 37-58.
Jovit Dela Cruz finished with 14 points, eight rebounds and four assists and Leo De Vera added 13 and 6.
