SOME 1,000 Filipino families will be the beneficiaries of solar lighting equipment when the Energizer Night Race stages its fifth run on May 4 at Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.
The race will be fired off at 7:30 p.m. at the corner of 9th Ave. and 34th St.
The Philippines, along with Ethiopia, Kenya and Argentina, are this year’s beneficiaries of Energizer’s “That’s Positivenergy” campaign, a global movement to promote clean, safe and affordable solar lights.
“If you run with us, you run for a cause,” said Todd Montgomerie, managing director of Energizer Philippines.
