MANILA, Philippines — National University blanked Ateneo, 25-15, 25-12, 26-24, Sunday in the quarterfinal round of the Shakey’s V-League Season 10 First Conference at the FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan.
The Lady Bulldogs hardly broke a sweat in snapping the Lady Eagles’ six-game winning streak thanks to their strong start.
Myla Pablo led the way for NU with 13 points while Aiko Urdas tallied 10 points.
Defense set the tone for the Lady Bulldogs as they limited the Lady Eagles’ top scorers Alyssa Valdez and Rachel Anne Daquis to just eight points apiece.
