Ateneo turns to Thai ace for firepower
BENT on retaining the crown, Ateneo has tapped Thai veteran Jeng Bualee to suit up at the start of its best-of-three semifinal clash with University of Santo Tomas in the Shakey’s V-League on Tuesday.
Ateneo coach Roger Gorayeb confirmed yesterday the inclusion of the power-hitting Bualee, the league’s top scorer (158 points) who will take the spot of Aerieal Patnongon.
The Lady Eagles, bannered by Alyssa Valdez, Fille Cainglet and Rachel Daquis, battle the Tigresses at 2 p.m. at Philsports Arena in Pasig.

Bualee suited up for San Sebastian, which bowed out of the quarterfinals.
Meanwhile, tournament organizer Sports Vision announced that succeeding games will also be played at Mall of Asia Arena with the Final Four expected to lure a record audience.
