Huey, Inglot ranked 16th in Wimby doubles
TREAT Huey, the country’s top Davis Cupper, and British partner Dominic Inglot, were ranked No. 16 in men’s doubles of the Wimbledon championships which get going in London today.
It was the first time the 27-year-old Huey obtained a seeding in a Grand Slam event, but the lofty billing could do more harm than good for him and his long-time partner.
Ranked 28th in the world after slipping from his career-high of 24, Huey and his 38th-ranked partner could figure in an early collision with top seeds and two-time champions Bob and Mike Bryan of the US.
The clash could happen in the third round if both combinations uphold their respective rankings in their side of the draw.

Huey and Inglot’s partnership started in college at University of Virginia and they picked up two ATP titles last year.
They will face Spaniards Roberto Bautista Agut and Daniel Gimeno Traver in the first round. Agut is ranked 68th in singles and Gimeno 50th, but Agut is 288th and Traver 195th in doubles.
