San Mig routs Alaska 95-82
MANILA, Philippines – San Mig Coffee gained steam in the second quarter before running away with it in the second half en route to a 95-82 win over Alaska in the 38th PBA Governors’ Cup Tuesday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Marqus Blakely flirted with a triple-double with 22 points, 28 rebounds and eight assists while also getting ample help from the locals as the Mixers improved to 4-3.

Other guys stepped up, Marqus, Mark (Barroca), Allein (Maliksi) and Pj (Simon). Guys stepped up and helped out. That’s really what we’re trying to build,” said San Mig Coffee head coach Tim Cone.
Maliksi scored 16 points while Barroca and Simon added 15 and 13 points respectively.
“Key now is we can’t let down. We’re glad to be where we are after our 0-2 start.”
