4 PLDT-Abap pugs join AIBA World tilt

ALMATY, Kazakhstan—The four-man PLDT-Philippine national boxing team, led by London Olympian Mark Anthony Barriga, is seeing action in the AIBA World Boxing Championships here.

Barriga fights on Wednesday against 2011 Southeast Asian Games light flyweight silver medalist Ngoc Huynh of Vietnam.

Flyweight Roldan Boncales, sees action on opening day, Monday. Completing the team sent by the Amateur Boxing Association of the Philippines are light welterweight Dennis Galvan and bantamweight  Mario Fernandez. Roy Luarca
