PLDT tossers seek second Liga victory

PLDT MyDSL guns for a second straight win but it will have to put up with TMS Philippine Army that is looking for its third as they banner a triple header in the Philippine Super Liga volleyball Grand Prix today at Ynares Arena in Pasig City.

Newcomer RC Cola works for its first victory in the league against Cagayan at 4 p.m., in the other women’s game, while Systema Tooth and Gum Care and Maybank fight to join the winners’ circle in the men’s match at 6 p.m.

Suddenly the most watched club in the league because of their American imports, the Speed Boosters get to test their newfound strength against the league-leading Lady Troopers in the 2 p.m. match.

Kaylee Manns and Savannah Noyes—tall, quick, powerful and good looking—powered PLDT to 25-19, 21-25, 25-21, 25-14 victory over Cignal last week.  The American spikers displayed impressive chemistry with their local teammates in the league which features former collegiate volleyball stars.
