2,000 runners at Outbreak Missions’ encore
MANILA, Philippines—Last November 16, two thousand runners gave fear another chance at the much-anticipated Outbreak Missions: The Adarna Initiative Director’s Cut. The latter was an encore of Outbreak Missions’ successful series of events held last October 2013 at Filinvest City.
For another evening, Filinvest City was transformed into a post-apocalyptic, high-adrenaline course filled with an amazing story line, special missions, and flag-hungry zombies. It’s easy to see why participants are calling Outbreak Missions an epic choice-driven adventure. “It was super fun” said participant John Young. “The best part was the last stretch. It was quite an adrenaline rush” said another thrill-seeker Andrei Ona.

Participants may think they’ve already ran the course before, but judging from the screams I heard, I’m pretty sure they were all in for a big surprise! Another new twist was a special hardcore mode that had people sprinting for their lives!”.
Outbreak Missions, brought to us by the organizers of Outbreak Manila, featured a storyline embedded in two exciting missions: The Adarna Initiative and The Narrows. The Adarna Initiative was a quest to find a rumored cure for the zombie outbreak, while The Narrows had them on a path to find a bus that will bring them out of the infected zone.
Outbreak Missions was co-presented by Filinvest City, Festival Supermall; presented by Boardwalk, Fox, Summit Natural Drinking Water; in cooperation with Impact High Performance Whey Protein, Smart, Mogu Mogu, Coleman, Booster C Energy Shot, and Makeup Design Academy.
