Lascuña keeps OOM title
ANTONIO Lascuña retained the ICTSI Philippine Golf Tour Order of Merit crown despite missing the rich 15-leg circuit’s final leg at Wack Wack recently as chief pursuer Miguel Tabuena ended up short.
Lascuña, who won the Calatagan and Manila Southwoods legs, and posted four runner-up finishes in 10 legs, teamed up with Angelo Que in the World Cup of Golf in Australia.
Sherwood winner Tabuena, needing a third-place finish to snatch the crown, settled for 19th spot, enabling Lascuña to clinch the OOM crown with total earning of P1,682,332.

Lascuña’s wife Cheryl and daughter Shanryl received his award from ICTSI public relations head Narlene Soriano during a recent rite.
Former OOM winners Elmer Salvador and Jay Bayron wound up third and fourth with P1,152,776 and P1,117,370, respectively, while Que, the Orchard leg champion, ended up fifth with P1,036,276.
